Working on several projects relating to intracranial electroencephalographic (iEEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data where the overall goal of research is to gain deeper insights into the brain dynamics of language production. - Created a MATLAB command line interface program to simplify and streamline the data processing and analysis of iEEG research. - Utilizing signal processing methods and statistics to analyze and study iEEG data. The interpretation of this analysis highlights regions of the brain that are highly involved in word retrieval. - Incorporating graph signal processing into the preparation and overall analysis of this dataset to find directional connectivity between specific brain regions during language processing. Co-designed a project within Production Test Engineering (PTE) to discover an appropriate replacement for a Viasat designed and manufactured noise test set in diminishing supply. Organized potential solutions and presented these results to supervision. - Reached out to PTE personnel including directors, supervisors, test engineers, and technicians to better understand the importance of the device being replaced, its intricacies, and its important and non-essential features. - Learned to operate test stations for Viasat modems where the noise test created a precise level of noise in a simulated channel. - Designed and developed a command line interface, statistical program in Python to verify the viability of replacement solutions. - Collected bit error rate data from lengthy test procedures after coordinating for test station access with full-time test engineers as to not interfere with regular test station proceedings.
