The responsibilities I have taken on in my role as treasurer is to maintain the society's financial float, keep up to date records of the society's expenses, report expenses to the student guild in order to for reimbursement of funds to happen and to present the society's finances every annual general meeting.Organising events for the students to attend is an initiative I've taken on in order to create a more positive life on campus for our students, this is has been achieved by organizing an event for potential financial planners in conjunction with the FPA and sundowners for our members to get to network with each other. I've have experience in keeping the society's members informed of activities being held which benefit our members, such as networking events, seminars and workshops.
