I am currently on placement through the University of Bedfordshire. I have been allocated to two schools, one of which I will be at from October till December and the Second school from January until June time. I have already observed many of the department in my school at the moment, and now I am working towards planning my own sequences of learning and delivering 3 hours of PE a day. At Premier Sport I learnt the basics of coaching whilst running curricular and extra-curricular activities. I learnt many skills such as behaviour management, time management, organisational skills, planning and observing skills. Through experience I development my own coaching and teaching philosophy which gave me a great stepping stone to take into University. After a year of teaching mainly extra-curricular activities as well as some curricular activities I then spent my whole second year based in one primary school. Here I began to develop my teaching understanding, I taught PE to each of the 5 classes at the school, one lesson per class a day. I also managed to do some teaching assistant work, mainly guided reading and maths problems.
