  This was my first customer service position that I started while in high school. I worked my way from a host, to a server, to an expediter in the kitchen, and a cook at some points. I tried to learn as much as I could from all the different positions I filled. In terms of customer service, I learned how to provide the best experience possible for customers, communicate in a respectful and concise manner while still helping them feel welcome.

  After the first two years in my fraternity, I decided I wanted to contribute more as a member and help us grow as an organization. As treasurer of my fraternity, I am in charge of all bookkeeping, collecting membership charges, keeping accurate accounts of all expenditures and income, and overseeing all transactions. Aside from the obvious financial literacy, this position has taught me a lot about managing and overseeing a large group of people.
