      The Collegiate was named "Best News Website" for the 2019-20 academic year, at the MCCPA (Michigan Community College Press Association) awards. As the Editor-in-Chief for The Collegiate, Grand Rapids Community College's student-run publication, I was tasked with maintaining the overall direction of the publication and its website. We published stories about current and incoming administration members, including covering the monthly Board meetings, campus events, and sports.
