Warehouse Team Leader
-
Oct 2020 - Jul 2022
Consisting of the day to day running of the operation while maintaining a high standard of food safety, health and safety and environmental practices across the shift with minimal overtime used to do so. Keeping all QC files, paperwork and staff QC training records up to date to comply with BRC standards. Staff utilisation and rota planning are of the upmost importance to get the very best out of my team, allowing them to understand expectations of exceptional service each day. I hold weekly team briefs to set goal and targets for the coming week and iron out any areas of concern from previous days. IPR’s, KPI’s, KSR’s and all training modules must be kept up to date along with a weekly site environmental walk around to comply with ISO 14001 regulations. Approving holiday requests, probation reviews, staff retention meetings, return to works, and disciplinary hearings are all part of my current role. Show less

Warehouse Supervisor
-
May 2018 - Oct 2020
My first role in leadership came as a supervisor in the place where I started my warehouse career. My job here was to ensure that each shift ran smoothly from start to finish. Striving to make sure that all intake procedures were followed by my team of 3 store-men, 1 administrator and 4 warehouse operatives. Keeping batch codes and traceability of all products up to date to ensure BRC complicate was followed throughout the warehouse. Ensuring all cleaning schedules were completed by my team at the start, during, and at the end of each shift. Liaising with suppliers and distributors to relieve pressures of deadlines and targets. Keeping on top of all IPR’s, KSR’s and training folders making sure all colleagues were up to date with all new procedures and training equipment Show less

Warehouse Administrator
-
Nov 2017 - May 2018
6 months seconded role covering absence of the full time administrator. Within this role it was my task to be on the ball and forward thinking at all times, taking in phone calls, scheduling deliveries, printing recipe sheets and production plans to ensure the warehouse team had a day to day smooth running and high understanding of each task at any time of day. This gave me a lot of experience in excel and KPI completion as figures had to be correct at the end of each day.

Warehouse Operative
-
Jan 2016 - Nov 2017
In this food production environment, my role as a warehouse op consisted of ensuring all products were kept within their chilled and frozen margins. It was my job to make sure traceability was always visible on all products, from batch code to use by date. Servicing the preparation team with ingredients, recording all products used to ensure a full trace could be maintained at all times. Ensuring the warehouse was audit ready at all times by maintaining a clean as you go policy.
