  As the Assistant Director, I work alongside the Co-Executive Directors to increase student involvement within the realm of sustainability at USC. I plan and hold weekly general meetings where we engage students through guest speakers and programming, and have an open space to discuss any issues pertaining to the environment. I also lead the advocacy committee of eight executive board members.   As Advocacy Liaison, I served as the bridge between the Undergraduate Student Government's legislative/advocacy branch and the different programming assemblies. Within this role, I initiated environmental advocacy projects such as the creation of a USC Transportation Guide and the Recycling on the Row project. This has caused more collaboration between ESA and USG's Sustainability Committee. By increasing this inter-branch collaboration, there is now a greater scope of environmental advocacy that can occur. Show less
