When I was hired as Director of Commercial Operations at Technicolor Toronto there was an opportunity to hire a new production coordinator. As I had worked with Connie in the past, and she had far exceeded my expectations, I wanted to bring her on in a coordinator/producer role. Good move on my part! When she started, she soon built us new business in VFX and digital signage, on top of her usual role as a commercial producer. As my department evolved, she became the sole commercial producer, in charge of major spots for Samsung and Labatts, while always maintaining and growing the VFX business. A consummate diplomat, good with the creative team and the goddess of the bottom line. I've never seen better!

Bringing 4D motion simulation rides, VR attractions and flying theatre projects to life, here at Sim-Ex iWerks, I have been blessed with the opportunity to own some of the most exciting projects! As a PM, I keep the customer teams engaged and satisfied. I coordinate with the internal project teams including lead technicians from mechanical and software engineering; control systems engineering; production, architectural and audio / visual departments as well as third-party vendors, contractors, consultants and onsite personnel. I am responsible for interpreting detailed technical correspondence and hardware and software specifications. Here's what else I do: Adherence to established Technology and Operations Department procedures along with Project Management deliverables and practices. Monitoring project spending, soft-costs and participation in regular cost review processes, in addition to supporting the Sales Team to define project scope, schedule and proposed costs.
