Megan Greig
Oh man, Connie flat-out RULES. I had the pleasure of managing and working alongside Connie on the mobile design team at Location Labs. She has an incredibly vast skillset, from character design, illustration, typography, photography, to motion design, film and classical graphic design tenets, like layout and functional form. She brings a rich sense of style and thoughtful aesthetic to everything she crafts, while intuitively balancing the needs of the user, the goals of the various teams and stakeholders, and the constraints of the project. With every new deadline or request, no matter the tight timeline or wild constraints, Connie met every project with calm and confident grace…and a hilariously dry sense of humor. From the first conversations in interviews to wonderful desk chats about design and life, Connie seamlessly jumped right into a very close team and incredibly busy work culture and elevated the vibe instantaneously. An exceptional designer and wonderful team mate, I greatly miss working with Connie everyday but very thankful I get to know her as a designer and human in real life too. You’d be incredibly lucky if you got the same chance.
