I have had the opportunity to observe and note the development of Mr Conlloyd Gumbs over the years and write this unsolicited recommendation for his LinkedIn portfolio. Conlloyd is a very disciplined individual who is humble about his talents and abilities. His giftedness is seen in his wide range of interests to include music, programming, physics and videography. He excels in everything he puts his mind and effort and is a great motivator and example to our young people in Anguilla. He is an innovative critical creative-thinker who demonstrates ability to analyse and synthesise information from diverse sources coherently and I was able to see evidence of this when he wrote his CAPE Caribbean Studies project. As his tutor for CAPE Computer Science, I was also able to witness first hand, his commitment to excellence through his detailed coding and writing skills for his capstone project. Above all, Conlloyd works well in an interdisciplinary setting as was evident in his work in the UK during his studies working as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Rolls-Royce. As a team-player he earned the respect of his team for his consistently top quality work.

Conlloyd is an exceptional team player to work with, only a few people are fortunate enough to have the chance to work wih a co-worker as outstanding as himself. I met Conlloyd when we worked together at IBM as team leads for a giveback which lasted around 9months. I was constantly impressed by his exceptional ability to stay focused on any task allocated to him. Not to mention, his bright and jovital personality always improved the mood in the office.
