As the Business Manager of the College of Law I manage the Fiscal and Accounting functions for the College of Law. Operating Budget Expenditures, Procurement Activities, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Warrant Disbursements for Financials (Travel Authorization/Reimbursements, Reimbursements Other Than Travel, Direct Payment Transactions, Requisitions, etc.) Plans and coordinates systems for collection and processing of accounting and fiscal data. Manage the review and analysis of data collected and make recommendations for action by the Dean of FAMU College of Law. Plan, organize and recommends to the Dean of the College of Law policies dealing with the business and fiscal operations of the University as it relates to the College of Law. Manages the College of Law Budget for all Budget Enities, Budgetary Functions: Prepares, Processes and Momitors the College of Law Budget, Preparing Budget Reports, Integrated Planning and Budget Worksheets, Budget Amendment Transfer Request and Reconcilingh the College of Law Accounts. Manage the review and analysis of the College of Law Budget Request and Prepares recommendation for actions. Controls, verifies and reconciles personnel budget transactions entered into the PeopleSoft System and the Human Resources Module People Soft System. Supervise the Coordinator of FAMU College of Law Human Resources, Program Assistant and Mail Manager. Informs subordinate of all relevant University Regulations and Internal Operating Procedures and provide access to all related documents, Employs measures of accountability for compliance with University Regulations and Internal Operating Procedures, Conducts and documents Performance evaluations in a timely manner for each subordinate, in accordance with University Regulations and Internal Operating Procedures. Also serve as a Management Analyst for the College of Law reporting to the Director of Administrative Services Assistance Program (ASAP) which is located in Tallahassee, FL.
