  I worked as an intern at Joysteak Studios, an Singapore-based Indie Games development startup, contributing to the current game project, titled “Songbird Symphony”. SUTD Game Innovation Programme 2017

• Game Programmer for Pixie Drop

  In this internship, I joined a group of 8 other individuals who are from various schools and we created a puzzle platformer game called Pixie Drop. This game is inspired by Lemmings and the element of tower defense is added onto it. This project has a scrum based development cycle in which biweekly development builds are required for internal play testing and feedback for the next iteration. Pixie Drop was built on Unity for Android. I was in charge of implementing the main mechanics and the in-game level editor. The experience was extremely valuable as we had an actual product advisor with a problem statement, which our game was built to address. We also had the opportunity thanks to SUTD GameLab, to showcase Pixie Drop at STGCC and GameStart 2017.
