When I met The Ariel Group I stepped into my dream of weaving together theatre skills and business communication . I had been exploring and applying these skills in training and development but not to the international scope that Ariel has reached. It is a privilege to have travelled and worked all over the Asia Pacific region as one of their facilitators. It has also been absolutely fascinating to meet and work with people in so many different cultural contexts and it has certainly broadened and honed my cultural intelligence. Being a Facilitator of Ariel Presence programs is like practicing yoga, I have to be very present, grounded and focussed, engaged physically and energetically, flexible and adaptable and use a lot of E.Q. In these small groups we connect authentically and journey deeply into individual presence and communication. The group moves from intellectually interested in the ideas at the beginning of the training to a state of inspiration and fascination with the marrying of theatre and communication skills .They discover new and powerful ways to lead how to express themselves congruently, how to use story and to authentically connect with their teams and stake holders.

I was invited to deliver a presentation for 270 Pfizer Sales and Marketing teams at their Cycle 1 meeting titled Reimagine at Twin Waters. The aim of my 50 minute presentation was to enable the participants to move out of their comfort zone and find ways to loosen their habitual patterns of thinking and being. My presentation was part theory - how we rewire our minds for creativity - and a lot of doing, playfully and dynamically stepping out of our comfort zones. The basis of which is drawn from my Improvisation practice which parallels powerfully with how we can rewire our minds for a creative practice.
