  Projects worked on and skills include: • Project Management –Vehicle Upgrade Program: Project manager for a 4x4 off highway vehicle upgrade including design of a bespoke transfer case. Managing and motivating a team of engineers. Coordinate detailed design reviews throughout the transfer case design. Coordinate ongoing supplier selection, communication around client deliverables, and progress reports for project deliverables. • Validation Testing: Organising and executing proof of concept validation testing for suspension air strut, 7 and 9 tonne independent suspension systems. Responsible for designing a test rig and test procedures to validate structural and fatigue FEAs and replicate the typical vehicle life cycles. • Technical Report Writing: Write internal reports to document new design processes and provide senior management with project progress. Write external reports include customer project deliverables and supplier technical purchase specifications e.g. loads, life cycles. • Chassis Design & FEA: Developing new methods to FEA 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 chassis. Reduce FEA solve time and complexity (while still obtaining realistic and accurate results) by reducing component numbers in the assembly and applying derived loads to the chassis through wishbone straddle bearings as oppose to applying loads at the tire contact patch. • Vehicle Build Supervisor: Provide support to technicians for an 8x8 off highway heavy duty vehicle build to ensure correct assembly and operation of vehicle systems and components. Create procedures for component installation and validation in line with customer and supplier requirements. Show less
