I am Clinical Lead for UK Antimicrobial Novel Value Assessment/ Reimbursement Project, working with colleagues in NICE, Department of Health & Social Care, University of York/University of Sheffield, trying to facilitate a new methodology for assessing the value of new antimicrobials that would inform a delinked payment scheme to incentivise the development of new antimicrobials. This is part of the UK Government response to the threat of AMR. I have also contributed to the UK 5 and 20 year plans for AMR, specifically with regard to antimicrobial reimbursement and improving access to diagnostics. Show less
