• Monitored surface separation facilities and carried out routine laboratory analysis of well fluid samples. • Assisted Production Technologists to carry out routine surface well tests to determine flow rates, water cut etc. of various wells • Monitored and controlled company’s Lease Automated Custody Transfer unit (LACT) at a group gathering facility • Together with the production Operator and regulatory body, we conducted flow rate tests to determine the Maximum Efficiency Rate (MER) of selected wells. This was used to calibrate the development plan for the wells/reservoirs • Ensured adequate injection of chemicals from the injection pump into the flowline for flow assurance mitigation • Conducted liquid level measurement using Echometer. This was useful in determining the well depth and pressure, which was subsequently sent to the Production Engineers for well management • Worked with senior Operators to conduct tubing leak detection. By monitoring casing and tubing head pressures, as well as physical examination of the wellhead, we ensured safety of the facilities • Scheduled and performed routine separator cleaning and maintenance to evacuate debris and sands laden in them • Pressure tested flow lines for leak detection after installation of new equipment in the route • Worked with the team in carrying out a successful pigging operation on one of the export lines Show less
