Bred and raised tropical marine fish and invertebrates to be sold to wholesale vendors, aquariums, and local fish stores. This involves daily feeding of both brood stock and grow out fish, water chemistry, algae production, copepod/artemia/rotifer production, larval rearing, and aquarium system design/repair/maintenance. Notable species produced include the Yasha Goby, Royal Gramma, Glassy Sweeper, Smallmouth Grunt, and 6 different species of designer clownfish. Conducted research comparing vertical movement trends in Dolphinfish found in the Eastern Tropical Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea by analyzing data from deployed satellite tags, helped in the assembly and distribution of tagging kits that are mailed to Mahi anglers all along the east coast, and input tag data into the Beyond Our Shores database using SQL. Also contributed to publications on CPUE at FADs in small-scale fisheries and vertical movement trends of wahoo.
