Colleen is a wonderful team member who is able to adapt to new situations with a sense of ease and ownership. Some of Colleen’’s greatest strengths include her attention to detail, professionalism and ability to quickly learn new information and information systems. Colleen started her position at Information Services during an especially busy time for our office and seamlessly adapted to our chaotic work environment in a calm and professional manner. I was particularly impressed by the speed with which she learned new information, especially given the massive amount of information for which our office is responsible. From very early on, Colleen demonstrated sound judgment and decision making skills and I was able to trust her to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Colleen also possesses an admirable work ethic and I have been consistently impressed by her willingness to contribute to the team’s shared workload. She excels in teamwork situations and contributes to the friendly atmosphere in our office by positively engaging with her colleagues. Since joining our team, Colleen has become a great resource in the Summer School email box and is able to write knowledgeable, direct and thoughtful emails. Along that same line, when interacting with students, whether in person, over the phone or through email, Colleen is always respectful, kind and attentive. Overall, Colleen would be an extremely valuable addition to any team environment and I would highly recommend her for any position within higher education.

      I created a study abroad magazine for Elon University in collaboration with another student as a senior Capstone project.
