I embodied the mission of inspiring courageous global citizenship through language proficiency. In 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2017, I managed between 15-30 staff members’ teaching and cultural workshops, coached staff from the US and former Soviet Union on developing activities appropriate for middle and high school students, and designed simulation activities to explain the fundamentals of international relations, patterns of labor migration, and climate change. In 2020, I collaborated with the camp dean to pivot to virtual language instruction; created innovative educational resources and programming, including videos, online games, and interactive reading guides.
