I oversaw the entire Ultra Music social media department, managing and owning accounts for Ultra Records, Ultra Music Publishing, and Payday Records. As Ultra's first hire within social, I was responsible for building the voice, audience, and sales goals across all accounts, creating appropriate and consistent messaging for each unique channel. I developed monthly/weekly content calendars, executed all content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube & Snapchat, including but not limited to copywriting, asset curation, memes, video editing. I also consulted with individual artists on improving their social presence & digital strategies. Under my leadership, Ultra acquired over 500k organic followers within a year, increasing post impressions by 200%. I developed Ultra's influencer marketing program, where I onboarded over 30 social media influencers to partner with for music campaigns. I also liaised with artist management/artists and digital platform representatives (Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify) on social activation strategy and campaign execution. One of my favorite partnerships to work on was with Giphy, where I helped drive traffic for Ultra & Payday Records’ pages. As part of the marketing department, I also provided support to the team, developing growth-driven social media campaigns for all artists/weekly music releases.
