Few people are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with someone as fascinating as Colin. I worked with him in numerous projects throughout the creative industries. We shared some great successes and one or two drinks. He is an absolute expert throughout the fields of management and strategy when it comes to guiding all kind of companies through digitalization. I am constantly impressed by his exceptional ability to transform traditional businesses and really make an impact. I am sure Colin and his fantastic team at Gould Finch will continue to write great headlines when it comes to disrupting traditional industries with genius AI solutions. This is next level sh***! But most important Colin is a fantastic, honest and inspiring guy to work with. No matter how tense a meeting, Colin makes sure everyone leaves with a smile. As a great leader, Colin earns my highest recommendation.

Colin is one of the nicest guys in the music industry. I had the pleasure of starting to work with Colin as far back as 2011 and our working relationship continued all the way up until I left the industry in 2016. He must be smart as he kept hiring me. Joking aside, Colin always provided me with a quality product which made my job as the PR easy. His enthusiasm for our regular success was infectious and made him and his team at Humming one of (if not) my favourite teams to work with. I have always admired Colin's depth of knowledge, his can do attitude and work ethic. I will always be grateful to him for the faith he showed in my work and my ideas.I have no doubt he will be a great manager of people for a long time to come.

THE AOS (The Art of Storytelling) is a brand new audiobook publisher co-founded by Universal. It brings together the best creators, authors and talents with experts from publishing, film, tv, tech and music to shape immersive spoken worlds in various formats. Not just as audiobooks, audio drama (Hörspiel) and podcasts, but also in ways you’ve never heard of. Literally. As Strategic Advisor I helped with a couple of things, such as: - Strategic development & positioning - Business development & partnerships with DSPs and brands - Finding bestselling authors and developing big content ideas that have bestselling potential - Identifying M&A targets Show less

Responsible for strategic projects and initiatives as well as creating new business opportunities and tech partnerships. I worked closely with the President of Universal Music's Marketing Labs and the Label- and Unit Heads. Some of my highlights include: - Developed and successfully implemented podcast strategy, resulting in Universal Music starting their own podcast department and producing several highly ranked shows with some of Germany’s biggest artists and public figures - Strategic investment in Digital Blast who are shaping the future of entertainment with their interactive software solutions - Learning (and doing) a lot in the space of Web3, NFT, gaming, streaming and a bunch of other interesting playing fields Show less

Technology-driven audiobook publisher that started as a spin-off from consulting firm Gould Finch. After initially creating tools and reports based on Artificial Intelligence and licensing them to leading publishing houses to identify promising authors and titles, we decided to launch our own publishing house when the pandemic hit and froze our clients’ innovation budgets. And that turned out to be a pretty good idea. Gould Finch Audio has been profitable ever since and successfully publishes audiobooks from both #1 bestselling authors as well as hidden champions. GFA also creates audio originals such as „Music Docs“, a docuseries portraying some of Germany’s most influential music producers. Show less

Gould Finch is a tech-driven management consultancy with a focus on digital strategy. I initially started freelancing for companies from music and publishing, helping clients like Apple, Sony, Warner and Bookwire grow their digital business. Gradually, Gould Finch grew to a unique team of 8 strategists, industry experts and overall great human beings working on some pretty cool projects, such as: - Go-to-market strategy for leading subscription services from the US, Sweden and China - Development of AI tools and strategies for large German book publishers and retailers - Creation of blended learning materials and delivery of +1000 days of training and coaching in the space of new work and digital leadership to multiple clients from the private and public sector - Innovation projects with clients from media, telecommunications and the public sector Show less

Humming Records is arguably one of Germany's best independent record labels. I started the label in 2009 with Joerg Peters and by the end a passionate team of 6 worked from Berlin, Hamburg and San Francisco on bringing our artists to the world. Humming was the first European home to internationally acclaimed artists such as Josef Salvat, Cloud Control, Wankelmut and Grammy nominated K.Flay. We sold the company to NEUBAU Music in 2018, where I continued to act as a strategic advisor. Some of my highlights include: - Signing and marketing of artists that went on to receive Grammy nominations and #1 awards in several countries - Acquisition of brand partnerships with e.g. Bitburger, Christian Dior, Philip Morris and Volkswagen with a volume of +1mio EUR - Three continous nominations as best German independent label at the VIA!
