Bio
Melissa Smith
Colin is an ace concept artist and designer with a huge passion for his craft. He is constantly working to sharpen his own skills as well as mentoring the next generation of hopeful developers. He can dance a mean robot, but his drawings of robots blow his dancing away. Colin's drawings are well thought out and are easy to translate into 3d game assets. His warm personality was infectious among our team and made it a pleasure to work with him.

I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Colin at my very first job and on my first project. During the course of the Resistance 3 project cycle, I got to know Colin not only as the hard working and talented concept artist that he is, but as a friend and Colleague too. He is very personable, easy to work with, open to new ideas, and just a fun guy to be around. From my very first week at Insomniac, Colin welcomed me and made me feel that, even while i hadn't worked here long, my ideas and questions already meant a lot. He made me feel like part of a team and was sure that I never went unheard. His concepts were detailed, professional, and pushed the boundaries of originality. If there was ever a question, specific need, or quick adjustment to one of Colin's concepts, he was very accommodating and quickly executed his work. If you ever have the opportunity to work with Colin on your team, be sure you don't lose him, because I can guarantee you'll realize what you're company is missing the day he's gone. - Jacob Norris Environment Artist Insomniac Games
