From my first day at Sprout Colin was there to hold my hand. He is one of the warmest and most welcoming people I know and a wonderful supervisor. He explains things in a casual but informative way that doesn’t make you feel dumb for asking. Colin is the ultimate Jack-of-all-trades, in my four months at Sprout I saw him do everything from build apps to draw up floor plans. He is keenly aware of others and goes out of his way to help, whether it’s picking up the slack at crunchtime or lending you his book for the train ride home.

I had the pleasure of hiking the Colorado Trail with Colin. I consider myself an outdoorsman. I have grown up in Colorado and logged many miles and many successful backpacking trips. I consider myself well versed in the techniques and knowhow of gear and general knowledge of the outdoors. Even with my personal experience, I found Colin to be a valuable resource on the trail. His knowledge of gear, safety and first aid was a comfort over the many miles. Even though our trip went smooth and had little turmoil, it was comforting to know that I was with a capable companion if an adverse circumstance were to arise. Colin's knowledge and passion for the outdoors was truly appreciated.
