In this role, I was the lead advisor for the modernization of traveller systems, and have accomplished the following:a. Championed the adoption of an agile, iterative methodology in order to meet tight project delivery dates. Recommendations included co-locating resources to facilitate collaboration, driving requirement definition via conducting storyboarding exercises, controlling scope and expectations via prioritizing and incrementally implementing user stories, and implementing test-driven development cycles and continuous builds.b. Performed a technical options analysis and advised senior technical advisors and management to adopt a new desktop technical platform stack, in response to peripheral integration needs, and performance, security, usability, agility, portability, development productivity, deployment capacity, and solution maintenance objectives.c. Created and championed to senior management an agile, extensible, scalable solution architecture for consolidating IT assets. This architecture entailed identifying business capabilities and architectural components with single areas of responsibility to implement the capabilities in a decoupled and reusable fashion, exposing the capabilities by identifying services and publishing a service catalogue, leveraging an Enterprise Service Bus to orchestrate service calls, defining a standardized front-end based on delivery platform, consolidating/externalizing business rules via leveraging a Business Rules Management System, and employing standardized datasets and workflows leveraging Master Data Management.d.
