Do you need a senior level designer? Colin is an easy recommendation for me to make. Colin and I were hired at the same time and it was crystal clear why. Immensely creative, diligent, and quick, I found it super easy to work alongside Colin and I still admire him to this day. When I think of Colin's work, I think of the word "clean". Seeing him in action I know that these clean designs only come from deeply understanding the stakeholder needs, thorough research, careful planning, and expert execution. Every time I've seen Colin's final design I've been jealous of how flawlessly put together they were. As a teammate, I found Colin to be a great sounding board. When reviewing work, he always took his time to give really insightful feedback I used to greatly improve my work. As a fellow designer, Colin was also passionate about improving design processes and deeply involved in all conversations regarding process. From process, feedback, or brainstorming I always relied on Colin for a calm gut check or an out of the box solution. On a personal level, Colin is a tremendous guy. Generous with his time and kind with his words, I've always enjoyed working and socializing with him in and out of work (especially important for an all remote company). He always was equally as quick to share a new design tool as he was a stakeholder insight or a heartfelt congratulations. I am grateful for the time I had to work with and learn from him.
