Bio
Westley Adams Baker
I have a new bar by which I assess the people working above me; it's "how do they stack up to Colin Mandlin? Do they have the influential ability to revive the energy in a sunken room? Will they hold me accountable with grace and full-transparency? Will they prioritize the development of informal relationships with me and constantly think of ways to empower me professionally? Well, if they can do all of these things, that's great, but chances are they can't...because they aren't Colin Mandlin!
Eric Barbour
Colin was my direct manager during one of the most trying years of my professional career. He was consistently supportive of both my personal and professional development which I greatly appreciated. I always felt like he had my best interest at the forefront. He provided me the flexibility needed to allow my creativity to flourish while complimenting it with the structure necessary to keep me moving forward. His leadership was a large part of the reason I decided to continue on with the organization after my one-year commitment was complete. I am forever grateful for the mentor-mentee relationships we've built and hold him in high regard.
