  I am responsible for supporting all network hardware components, network operating systems, performance, network availability, patch management and security updates according to standards and current best practices. I also perform installation, configuration and upgrades to network routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN terminators and any other types of network and transport infrastructure in both LAN and WAN environments. I work in a variety of critical network platforms and protocols including Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed, Coyote Point, F5, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VRF, and SNMP. And lastly, I perform network problem troubleshooting, including a cooperative work effort with the server group and support desk. Show less

  I was basically tech support, just with a cool title. I managed two server/client computer systems in the center: one for bowling and the other for the restaurant and bar.
