      My Brother's Keeper (MBK) is a non-profit organization and Christian ministry which has the mission statement, "To Bring the Love and Hope of Jesus Christ to those we serve." The work of MBK is to deliver furniture and food to families in need free of charge. I initially got involved with MBK during my senior year of high school as a part of my service project. I loved it and was offered an internship for the summer of 2013 and will continue work as an intern. My duties included helping with the deliveries, assisting on furniture and food pick ups, interacting with the volunteers as well as the people we served, organize food and furniture orders, work closely with the staff, making confirmation phone calls, and helping with miscellaneous tasks in the warehouse.
