      Branch Manager/ AGM Sales- HSS Hire - Nov 2007-2010 Duties included assisting the public and companies with advice on appropriate plant equipment and tool hire. This is a nationwide company with over 200 depots. I was branch manager in the Springburn depot ,then moved to Kingston Bridge as AGM for sales. I mainly worked on bringing new business to the company and ensuring the companies we had continued to trade with us,B2B calling ,cold calling between 100-150 customers ,existing and new. Looking after premium accounts with spends from £100,000 to over £500,000 per annum these being key accounts to the business, each getting the same quality in service and equipment ,ensuring their orders were processed correctly with purchase order numbers ,time of delivery ,collections ,prices were correct ,invoices were sent out at correct time each month and accounts paid on time ,aswell as dealing with any queries or problems swiftly and accordingly. I had a database of customers aswell as new target customers , I was responsible in making sure that each depot made target monthly and kept on top of any potential clients whom we had to talk into using us instead of competitors giving them all the benefits ,better rates and due to the volume of depots we had that we could supply anywhere in the country and managed to tie in clients in England and throughout Scotland to only use myself for each and every hire therefore only having one contact and one number for all of their needs regardless of where they were working therefore ensuring my depot retained all revenue. Dealing with our lapsed clients database, calling customers or clients who used us previously but who had stopped hiring and finding out the reason then finding a way to bring them back onboard, overcoming any objection or issues that may have stopped them from using us, be it cost or service by gaining their trust and making every hire personal to them and their company.
