  I was contracted as the technical lead for the development of a Smart Metering communications hub. This requires the use of GPRS, DLMS COSEM and the ZigBee Smart Energy Profile for communicating with various devices on the network. I was instrumental in introducing processes and techniques to improve the overall quality and correctness of the product, including continuous integration and test driven development using CPP Unit UML was used for the analysis and design of the product. The implementation is in C++, and runs on an ARM STM32 microcontroller where I was involved with developing application layer code, abstraction layers, and device drivers. Show less
