Colin and I started at GE Aviation around the same time, yet Colin skyrocketed in technical know-how and on-the-job learning. He was capable of balancing the workload along with constant self-development that allowed him to digest massive amounts of data and identify major gaps in his business. Colin is an excellent coworker who never shied from sharing skills, techniques, or tools that were transferable between processes. Working on the off-shift, Colin’s leadership and care for his coworkers even outside of his business helped guide many new engineers. Colin is a highly competent, data-driven powerhouse and I would strongly recommend him as a process or manufacturing engineer.

Colin has a strong work ethic, is process oriented, and dedicated to continuous improvement. He is self motivated and draws from his machining background in simplifying complex systems into language that can be understood with multiple audiences. His ability to connect with others and helpfulness was a wonderful addition to our team. I greatly enjoyed working with Colin and learned a lot from him. I would recommend Colin for a position where you need a dependable, intuitive, and dedicated employee.

Process engineering specializing in metal removal operations such as milling and grinding. Collected and utilized relevant data for increasing process capability. Used servant leadership to drive change at the operator level to improve safety, quality, and production. • Drafted an excel workbook that divided raw CMM data by machine and shift calculating Cp, and Cpk automatically. • Found and solved rampant problems with preventive maintenance with tool setters causing work stoppage. • Built a database combining FPI and machining data to track non-conformances more effectively.
