Provided constituent services in office and served as representative for the Senator when neither he nor District Director could attend the event. Came on late in the game at the specific request of Congressman's District Director to help shore up support. Designed and implemented field plan for Knox County while providing extra support in Fulton County. Unsuccessful race, but worked in two of six counties that Congressman Hare won. NOTE: Worked full-time for two months before working part-time the rest of the way because of concurrent internship for class (originally was forced to turn down Hare position for this reason). Designed and implemented several campaign strategies for final two months of campaign. Essentially handled all day-to-day campaign operations for final three weeks. Created largest voter contact drive in a municipal race in city's history and recruited dozens of new volunteers to help push candidate across the finish line. Led unprecedented GOTV operation that helped candidate exceed polling margins by nearly ten points. Designed and implemented several campaign strategies for final two months of campaign. Performed direct voter contact and volunteer recruitment, working often as much as 25 hours per week while a full-time student and playing collegiate baseball. Spent final weeks prior to Iowa Caucus in Davenport, Iowa assisting in both persuasion and GOTC efforts. Oversaw several caucuses in Davenport's 4th Ward.
