  In my part-time, remote Corporate Financial Analyst role, I have reported to the CFO & Controller, and driven financial & operational excellence in finance & accounting/estimating functions. This has included Financial statement analysis, variance/management reporting, invoicing, payments & budgeting. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to build a total company valuation model including 3-year projections, isolating drivers for profit improvement (revenue/expense analysis), industry trends & future projects to enable enhanced forecast model automation. I've also streamlined the construction document review process & Flood Door Product portfolio pricing estimate tool. My role scope has also included auditing & optimizing select financial/operational systems & procedures, resulting in enhanced workflow productivity & pricing consistency for client projects.

  In my role as an M&A specialist & corporate development intern reporting to the COO, I was charged with building & analyzing the private valuation of an external vendor’s divisional business unit for sale, resulting in a live purchase offer for the division. Specifically, I built a dynamic valuation model for the target seller, a private company single division’s flood control product, enabling adjustments to valuation as additional key company financial data & future financial drivers were shared. I also conducted comprehensive industry research & macroeconomic analysis for critical model inputs, analyzing & leveraging Fed interest rate, inflation, a manufacturing beta, the US IP Index & an industry-driven multiplier. Ultimately, I compiled & synthesized the valuation analysis & shared the divisional valuation report with the Executive Team, detailing the monetary offer value, calculation drivers & recommended deal structure. I had the incredible opportunity to actively participate in Seller Meetings, engaging in site visit, pricing negotiation & deal structure sessions to inform Orange Flood Control’s Executive team in evaluation of saleable assets & deal structure. This career-expanding experience has confirmed and deepened my interest & excitement in launch of my career in a full time financial analyst role.
