  With ASM, I provide both direct care to our clients as well as administrative support to other direct care employees. We provide goal-oriented living assistance for people diagnosed with IDD and Autism. This includes a variety of goals, all chosen by the clients, such as health concentrated goals like dieting and food substitutions as well as employment options in the community for our clientele. In my administrative role, I am in charge of conducting new hire interviews and trainings, as well as submitting payroll and progress notes each week.

  I worked as a Research Assistant under Dr. Gregory Anoufriev in the Anatomy and Physiology department at Appalachian State University. In the year I spent in the lab, we dissected cadavers for the Anatomy students according to the curriculum and prepared coursework for an upcoming Advanced Anatomy course.
