This internship allowed me to utilize my creative abilities to create branded content, instructional design guides, videos, etc. Creating branded content primarily included creating an original comic series called "Foolhardy Marty", a comic about a character named Marty who through his own ineptitude and poor decision-making generates losses for his insurance agency. Thus educating viewers in how not to act if you'd like to keep your rates down. I came up with the content for the majority of the comics. The video project involved creating a ~25 min video espousing the internship program at Union Mutual and the experiences of the interns therein. This was written, directed, filmed, and edited by myself over the course of the internship. Largely a self-directed project. Other duties included collecting and organizing marketing materials, digitizing archived documents, contacting independent agencies and confirming marketing lists, sitting in on marketing meetings, and organizing the agency locator list on the Union Mutual website. (Among other minor responsibilities)
