  I had the privilege of assisting the Hands for an African Child organization with developing their orphanage and school house in the rural village of Bukomero, Uganda. My work included coordinating communication between the team in the United States and the team in Uganda. We built houses and school buildings with basic construction equipment, designed roofs and water systems, drilled wells and farmed crops.
