  As a summer intern with the Georgia Department of Transportation, I was introduced to the skills and requirements to become successful in the field of Construction and Civil Engineering. I observed each phase of a construction project from start to finish. I was able to observe each phase in depth to see a project from the developing stages to a finished project. This internship allowed me to gain experience useful to create a successful start to my career.
