Scheldebouw has an extensive and impressive list of projects they've succesfully completed, among which are: - The Shard (London) - King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD, Riyadh) - Maastoren, Rotterdam As a Project Design Manager, I was involved in the new International Criminal Court. This building is to be fitted with a composite faҫade of approx. 13,000 m². The faҫade is to meet extensive requirements, including: - Bomb-blast resistant - Fire requirements acc. EN13501 - UV-resistant These requirements, in combination of a high cost-effectiveness and good producability, made this a difficult project. In this project, responsible for composite production, design and engineering, concerning: - Budget - Planning - Design - Scope - Producability - Communication with, and management of subcontractors - Management of multiple engineers (acoustics, thermal, structural engineering, design, etc.) These items were reported to the Project Manager.
