• Human Resources Business Partner

  As an HR Business Partner, I work in an HR shared services model to support my assigned departments with recruitment, employee life cycle transactions, performance management, employee relations, etc. I consult with my departments on their goals according to University, State and Federal policies, statutes, and bargaining unit agreements. I support areas in Information Technology, Graduate Programs and UW Centers, such as the newly created Center for Human Genomics and Precision Medicine.

  As HR Coordinator, I have the opportunity to work through multiple aspects of Human Resources. My position is part of a team that supports several departments within the School of Medicine and Public Health. I support these departments as an onboarding coordinator for new hires, track compliance with Federal, State, and University policy, and assist with recruiting efforts. I also act as Business Partner to a few departments, directly working with them as their Human Resources contact.
