I work as a Workshop Assistant for children’s art school ‘Arty Party’. During term time I visit primary schools for after school workshops. I use my artistic flare to help support children creatively. I demonstrate these workshops on my own, so I am responsible for setting up, explaining, tidying and behaviour management. Exhibition Assistant

As an exhibition invigilator for the D&AD festival, I had the unique opportunity to engage with the best of the best in the creative industry. The exhibition featured the winner shortlist of the 2023 awards, showcasing the latest and greatest in design and advertising. In this role, I utilised my communication and interpersonal skills to engage with visitors and answer any questions they had about the exhibits. I also had to be vigilant and ensure the safety of the artwork, while maintaining a welcoming and approachable demeanor. Overall, my time as an exhibition invigilator at the D&AD festival taught me valuable skills in communication, attention to detail, and art appreciation. I am grateful for this experience and look forward to applying these skills to future endeavors. Show less

I did a week of work experience with ArtDog London at Battersea Affordable Art Fair. This role involved helping to set up the exhibition space and assisting with putting up art. It also meant I had to use my customer service skills whilst talking to customers about the pieces, when making sales, and when wrapping the art work.
