Performed the Warehouse Supervisor role in a very fast paced and incredibly deadline orientated setting, whereby missing deadlines was a very costly process.Proud to say I haven't missed any in the whole 6 years of working in this role. I assisted in managing the department whilst completing a very informative DYNA course which touched on most of the first line managing areas as well as being the recipient of an Excel Intermediate certification.I was already unofficially fluent in various office administration skills and applications by this time and this became a valid add on to my experience. I continued in adding to my already 4 years of Supervisory skills by overseeing the Recieving, storage, wms capturing, dealing with up to 25 agent staff, Dispatching procedures, but this time around coupled with a production aspect and learning to working in conjunction with this area and in turn deliver an exceptional on time delivery status. At this point in my career, I regard myself to be on par with many logistics and warehouse qualifications as my self starting demeanor gave me almost all the requirements to execute the above abilities successfully. Performed various viscosity tests on rubber polymers and passed off for production use. This is also where I first gained valuable knowledge in figuring out that logistics and warehouse processes are not only limited to only warehousing. In this setting, there are various departments(like clients or customers)that need to be accomodated either with a product or a service(like storing and releasing of client stock from a warehouse). If this service or item is not released in a manner conducive to quality, speed and accuracy, the next department would then be on a detrimental Back foot with a possible knock on effect to all other departments..just as in a warehouse, whereby if stock is not stored accurately and safely could result in damages, late deliveries to transporters and in turn then, affecting the clients service to the Industry. These insights are the main factors which led me to pursuing a role in the Warehousing and logistics Industry. I also felt that my overview experience could be beneficial to the said Industry as my collaboration with production could possibly give me an advantage, which I strongly believe has moulded me into a well rounded asset to any company willing to invest in my abilities.
