Committed. Knowledgeable. Forwarding-Thinking.As executive VP of CompuCycle, I monitor operational procedures as well as revenues and profits to ensure continued growth of our company. From analyzing industry trends to representing CompuCycle at legislative sessions, I identify opportunities and collaborate with our president to maximize profits. As Houston’s first certified recycler, I help CompuCycle maintain its leadership position in the eCycling space. In 2015, CompuCycle became certified with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and as a Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). As a woman-owned small business, CompuCycle can help corporations meet supplier diversity goals while recycling their PCs and other electronics with stringent security measures. CompuCycle’s president and I strategically pursued these certifications as a way to further differentiate CompuCycle from the competition and help us connect with large businesses. Under my direction, our company remains committed to providing corporate clients with a safe, secure way to recycle computers and other electronics. Additionally, I was instrumental in securing CompuCycle’s OHSAS18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications as well as getting our company on the GSA Approved Vendor list—all of which present greater contracting opportunities. I also represent CompuCycle at various conferences and in media interviews. In fact, as part of our partnership with channel ABC13, CompuCycle set a new Guinness Book of World Record for the most consumer electronics recycled in 8 hours (single venue) during the ABC13 Earth Day E-Cycling Drive in 2014. Serving as the company spokesperson at this annual event, I showcase CompuCycle’s industry leadership in electronic recycling and increase the company’s brand awareness with broad-based television coverage.I also served as a board member of the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR), formerly the Gulf Coast Recycling Council.
