I was promoted into Quality from within the company into this position. I review work orders and verify compliance and traceablity with regulations and other companies work instructions. I do final quality control and process products before they go into inventory or out to a customer. I work with the other departments such as engineering, production, and planning in order to assure that new or existing products are in compliance and conformance. I worked as an electro-mechanical production technician III building products. I learned multiple product lines and started training new employees. I was asked to work with the engineers and the rest of production to start a new product line and saw it all the way through its production. My duties included drilling, riveting, wire harness building, placard making, and building assemblies.

Aircraft Mechanic

I worked as a sheetmetal, paint, and composites technician. I would use equipment anywhere from rivet guns and bucking bars, box and pan brakes, turret punches, ect. Work was on parts in a back shop and out in the hangar on line aircraft ranging from maintenance items to major structural repairs. Occasionally I would be sent out on field repairs to get the aircraft back to the hangar for major repairs via ferry flight. I worked on Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s and Embrear E175s.
