Rothman Institute is a leading orthopedic company in the Northeastern US. Comprising nearly 1500 employees across 40+ sites, Rothman Institute's commitment to improving the well being of our clients stands alone. As the Manager of Engineering Services, I oversee the parts of the Technology that are "behind the faceplate." Dell's VxRail and Compellent technology, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft and Cisco (Firewalls, routers & switches) form the core of the experience. Sprinkle in some Aruba and various monitoring solutions and you have my teams core responsibilities. I work with incredible partners, including Candoris, ePlus and Tierpoint, among them. After all, almost all current IT jobs require relationships. Show less

SAT developed investment automation solutions for medium-to-large institutional clients. (Fortune 500 banks and large investment firms) As Director of Information Technology, my department was responsible for all development projects and technology initiatives for the company. I had a typical staff of 1 manager, 15-20 programmers, 2 DBA's and 4 network engineers. Additionally, we off-shored certain aspects of our programming. Our typical development projects could range anywhere from 4 months to 2 years, involving 1-10+ developers. These projects were designed to be housed either on-site or in client hosted environments. My network staff maintained a server farm of 30+ servers in our own localized hosting site requiring 7x24 support. Additionally, I was responsible for advisory discussions and negotiations with potential clients about our product. Post sale, I worked as a Project Manager with the client's IT executives to integrate our systems and support requirements. Show less

My responsibilities in this position included server and desktop automation projects in California and Nevada. Primarily, my team supported over 40 local and remote networks throughout the two states, providing hardware and software support to the branches and office complexes. Additionally, we worked with a central IT department to integrate various interstate departments.
