Responsible for the planning and coordination of Nashville’s 10-year strategic plan to end chronic homelessness on behalf of the Mayor’s Metropolitan Homelessness Commission. Provide staff support to the Homelessness Commission, Metro Social Services Homeless Service Program. Other responsibilities include networking with Nashville’s Coalition for the Homeless, Nashville’s Continuum of Care Committee, Nashville’s Homeless Management Information System, and Service Providers that serve the Homeless. • Provided executive management and operational support to the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission (MHC), The Key Alliance (MHC Fundraising Arm), Metro Social Services, and homeless service providers, resulting in city-wide public policies to serve the homeless on a daily basis. • Directed city-wide coordination to over 100 homeless service providers that resulted in individuals and families obtaining housing through programs to improve the delivery of homeless services.• Managed SSI/SSDI (Social Security Income/ Supplemental Security Disability Income) program, resulting in over 300 homeless individuals collectively receiving over 6.3 million in SSI/SSDI benefits.• Created a 501(c)3 organization known as The Key Alliance that served as the fundraising partner of the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission to raise awareness and funds to support the implementation of the City of Nashville’s plan to end chronic homelessness.
