  The majority of Aboriginal groups in WA engage and communicate using this system, many individuals and language groups use the kinship system to function day to day. It is a system that provides social order within groups, and a code of conduct. It is a system of respect and is used within groups throughout WA. It is an Aboriginal engagement and communication protocol that is entrenched in all Aboriginal groups. The Kinship system is also the prime code in which the kinship system algorithm is used for language group, and family units to move in closed spaces such as a building or houses.
