As a Principal Consultant at Turnpike, I provide specialist communication and engagement services for major infrastructure projects in the energy sector. I'm currently the Community & Stakeholder Lead for EnergyCo on the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ). As the first REZ to be delivered under the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, the project will underpin the state's renewable energy transition as existing coal-fired power stations are decommissioned. Key achievements include:- Establishing the project's community and stakeholder engagement function from the initial start-up phase- Leading a team of engagement professionals tasked with managing community and stakeholder relationships in the REZ- Participating in a major competitive tender process to appoint a Network Operator who will build, operate, finance and maintain the REZ transmission network- Facilitating major community consultation periods to develop and refine the REZ transmission project study corridor.
