As a project manager, I was building and leading a cross functional team of 15 people. We developed and published freemium games for smartphones and took care of the marketing and analysis subsequently. Over the course of this time, I took part in almost every area of the app and game development. Besides leading the team, implementing agile processes (Scrum & Kanban), weighing priorities and solving emerging problems, I was working on game design, balancing, implementing tracking and the analysis of meaningful KPIs, copy writing, UI and UX design, community management, sound design (working closely with the sound design company) and marketing. I was able to visit a few conferences, meet ups and career events, getting to network and recruiting new members for my team.

After starting as a graphic design intern, I was working as a graphic designer for miscellaneous IT services and internal projects, doing graphics and illustrations and working closely with developers. We started developing an online city-building game (Facebook) in the year 2010 and I undertook the position of the project manager at the end of 2011. The project was unfortunately cancelled after Facebook lost its importance as a gaming platform. The company focused at developing mobile apps and games and thus transferred the team and myself to its parent company "Die Kapitäne media GmbH".
