      • Oct 2012 - Feb 2013

I was hired to perform duties according to developing a logistics plan for building pump jacks and managing personnel on Facility Construction and Installation. I drew up an S.O.P. for the timeframes on transporting, assembling and installing pump jacks as well as for building the pump base pads, and making a complete tool list. When we didn't get any pump jack work, they added to my duties and included more time overseeing the men and facility work. I undertook all paperwork duties, tickets, time sheets, daily reports, and Superintendent Reports. I organized the men, their schedules, and lead all morning safety meetings as well as weekly safety meetings. I kept in contact with the men in the field and made sure they had everything they needed for their specific jobs and projects. I went into the field, when time allowed, physically talking with the men or observing or meeting with the company men if and when needed. I made tool and material lists for individual projects. I checked competitive pricing, purchased, and had them picked up to be ready for distribution the next morning. I was personally responsible for a company truck, company cell phone, company laptop, company credit card, and secured company information. Show less

    • Foreman
      • Feb 2012 - Oct 2012

I was hired on as a Crane Rigger but after 2 ½ weeks of working with my crew, I was promoted to Foreman of the Pump Jacks. I was a working foreman. I supervised, trained when needed, a crew of 6 rotational men and was in charge of all of the operations of organizing the acquisitions, transportation, as well as the time frame on when and where the equipment and materials were to be delivered. We would be sent to the well sites that the oil production had slowed enough to need a pumping unit set in place. I was in close contact with the Company Men with Hess Management in order to organize the logistics and coordinate with the other contractors to complete our assigned tasks. The assignments would change frequently in mid operation and we would have to drop everything to change to a different location. My multi-tasking skills were honed exponentially in order to keep up with the frequent changing of sites, during mid-project. I was in charge of making calls for locates, setting up contractors, and organizing set time frames for ease of transitions between contractors and materials. I had to consistently make adjustments for change orders and RFI’s so I could make sure that the projects would go as smoothly as possible. I was in charge of all supervisor and employee, daily and weekly, paperwork. I was personally responsible for a company truck, company cell phone, company credit card, and secured company information. I worked a 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off schedule. Show less

I have been a General Contractor for all phases of the building and construction of homes. I worked closely with Building Inspectors to make sure that all construction was up to City Building Codes. I worked with Public Works to make sure that all Water, Sewer, Phone Lines, Gas Lines, and Electrical were installed correctly. I was a General Contractor for all phases of remodeling homes. I took and passed my General Contractors License test with a Residential and Commercial Building Inspector and State Code Specialist. I've worked with insurance companies and have done all the paperwork and scheduling for completion of the different stages of projects.
