• Arizona LaserChron Center is an NSF-funded facility at the University of Arizona, Department of Geosciences, for zircon U-Th-Pb geochronology and Hf geochemistry. I worked at Arizona LaserChron Center part-time while completing my undergraduate degree and full-time for a year after graduating. • Work Duties:- Mineral separation and sample preparation- Operating a Hitachi S-3400N Scanning Electron Microscope- Supervising visiting researchers on an E2 Laser Ablation-Inductively Coupled Mass Spectrometer (LA-ICPMS). • Research: - U-Pb zircon geochronology of upper and lower plate rocks in the Rincon Metamorphic Core Complex, Saguaro National Park East, Tucson, Arizona - I presented this research during the 2019 GSA Catalina-Rincon Metamorphic Core Complex Field Trip and at the 2018 University of Arizona Geosciences Symposium ("Geodaze").
